The rich diversity of Consecrated Life in the Church includes: Monastic Life, the Orders of Virgins, Hermits, Institutes devoted to contemplation, Apostolic Religious Life, Secular Institutes, Societies of Apostolic Life, and new or renewed forms of consecrated life.
